Glasshouse Introduces “Unwind”: A More Accessible Way to Enjoy Personalised Cheese & Charcuterie in the Heart of the City

Singapore, November 2025

Editor’s Note: This has been amended to reflect that while Glasshouse’s “Unwind” is not the first DIY personalised charcuterie box in Singapore, it is among the most accessible options, thoughtfully priced and conveniently located at CHIJMES near City Hall MRT.

Glasshouse, known for its specialty coffee and thoughtful daytime offerings, now invites guests to ease into the evening with the soft launch of Unwind — a personalised, single-serving charcuterie box experience designed for accessibility, convenience, and simple pleasure.

Located at CHIJMES, just steps from City Hall MRT, Unwind brings the charm of cheese and wine culture into the everyday — without the fuss or formality. Elegant yet approachable, each box is perfect for one, and just as lovely to share.

A Softer, More Accessible Way to End the Day

In a city that rarely slows down, Unwind offers a gentle reminder to pause. Drawing inspiration from evening rituals around the world — from Japan’s nightly resets to Denmark’s cozy moments of hygge — Glasshouse hopes to create small, meaningful breaks in the day for reflection, connection, and care.

“Everyone has their own way of unwinding,” shares founder Joshua Liew. “For us, it’s about creating small rituals that help people pause and feel human again, whether that’s a morning coffee or a thoughtful bite in the evening.”

Personalised Charcuterie, Made Simple

Unlike traditional platters, Unwind offers customisable, ready-to-serve individual boxes — made to order and tailored to taste. Guests can pick two cheeses and two cold cuts from a rotating selection that includes Gruyère, Comté, Wensleydale with Cranberry, Gouda, Truffle Brie, and Tête de Moine, paired with San Daniele Parma Ham, Calabrese Pork Salami, Smoked Beef Salami, or Mortadella with Pistachio.

Each box is completed with fruits, nuts, and sweet touches such as figs, rock melon, macadamias, honeycomb, and edible florals for a balanced, textural experience guided by one simple idea:

Creamy + Acidic + Sweet + Salty + Crunchy = A Complete Flavor Experience

At $19.90 during the soft launch, Unwind is designed as a light bite or tasting experience — an affordable, easy indulgence to pair with your coffee, tea, or wine as the day winds down.

Learn, Taste, and Explore — Together

At its heart, Unwind is about making wine and cheese approachable.

“Wine and cheese can feel intimidating, we get that,” says the team. “We’re not experts either — we’re curious. We want to learn alongside our guests, discover what we enjoy, and have fun doing it.”

Guests can taste the cheeses before deciding or choose from pre-set pairings curated by the team. It’s an experience built not on expertise, but on exploration and enjoyment — together.

The Craft Behind the Glass

Every box is prepared to order by the Glasshouse team, layering care into every step. Cheeses and charcuterie form the base, with fruits, nuts, and pickles adding contrast and colour. Each ingredient is chosen for freshness and balance, where creamy meets crisp and sweet offsets savoury. Guests can even watch the finishing touches being placed before their box is sealed and served. In-store, it will be served on a wooden platter.

From Morning Coffee to Evening Unwind

With Unwind, Glasshouse extends its story from bright morning brews to slow, reflective evenings. It’s an invitation to pause, connect, and enjoy, one box at a time — now made more accessible in the heart of Singapore’s city centre.
