Celebrate SG60 with Glasshouse: A Local Love Letter Told Through Flavour

Weekend-Only Food Specials & National Day Drinks Launching 9 August

Singapore, 31 July 2025 — In honour of Singapore’s 60th birthday, Glasshouse presents a curated series of food and drink specials inspired by the rich flavours of our multicultural heritage. From 9 August to 30 September, this SG60 campaign invites guests to taste local nostalgia reimagined with an Australian-inspired brunch sensibility, a celebration of the diverse ingredients, textures, and stories that shape our identity.

“Singapore is more than a city we live in, it’s what we eat, how we gather, and the shared culture that connects us,” says Joshua Liew, founder of Glasshouse. “This menu is our tribute to those familiar flavours, layered with the warmth and playfulness that define our kitchen.”

WEEKEND-ONLY FOOD SPECIALS

Available Saturdays & Sundays from 9 August to 29 September

King Prawn Laksa Goreng $28
A bold remix of a hawker classic. Stir-fried noodles in our housemade laksa paste, tossed with U10 king prawn, squid, blue swimmer crab meat, tau pok, wing bean, and fish cake. Finished with cucumber, red chilli, and cured egg yolk, it’s local comfort, made indulgent.

Chilli Crab Bowl with Fried Lotus Leaf Bun $18
Glasshouse’s take on the iconic chilli crab. A sweet-spicy crab sauce with pineapple purée served with pillowy fried lotus leaf buns. Topped with pomegranate, Chinese herb cress, and onsen egg for balance, brightness, and a satisfying richness.

DRINK SPECIALS

Available daily from 9 August onwards, while supplies last

Cold brew coffee finished with a swirl of Gula Melaka sweet cream and toasted coconut shavings — a nod to familiar kopitiam flavours, elevated.

Whether you’re a born-and-bred Singaporean or newly in love with the city, Glasshouse’s SG60 specials aim to celebrate what makes us uniquely local, a flavourful harmony of past, present, and the people we share it with.
